I think the best ring design to start with is the very first ring that I ever made. It holds a special place because it was made for my brother. It is a 14k Yellow gold comfort fit band with a heart butt testure.
This Wedding set for Helen & Chris features a custom bronze ring with hammering and patina to give it a rough rustic look. Helens ring is a custom rose gold ring with white sapphire and amethyst. It was custom designed to fit around an heirloom ring.
This was such a fun project! We started with a bronze band. Then we took a sheet of bronze and distressed it before wrapping it around the band. After that we made prongs and individually attached them before melting down a bead of gold, hammering it and setting it as if it were a stone. Lastly we added patina to the whole thing.
A ring doesn't have to be super flashy to be eye catching. This ring is 14k White gold with light distressing and a 1mm genuine amethyst flush set into the band. We have these for sale in the store under the name "Nightfall"
